this is my D&D Ravenloft character Kiel Yew. he's a bumbling wizard who has a "Destroy Everything" Spell book. as you can tell i modeled him off the black mage's from final fantasy. at first was going to be this longbow wielding rouge sorcerer, but i've never played a wizard before so i decided to play as just him. this spell he's casting is called "Powerful blast of the red wizard" your material component is an unbroken egg and it acts as a grenade... pretty flippin sweet.

This is an excelent sketch! You find people tend to draw wizards as either old men reading books, genderless sticks with lights coming off - or almost naked women.

You have no idea how refreshing it is to see an adventuring mage character drawn as most people play them. This is just a guy out to blow up some stuff, and that's great!

On a technical note, your approach to the scale and perspective around the hands is perfect for this style of artwork, but you my have gone a little too far.
